Data Center Manager M/F/X

- Located in our Cambridge datacenter, you will be responsible for designing and delivering server resources and infrastructures, innovating and industrializing best practices.
- You will ensure the continuity of the datacenter’s operations in cross-functional collaboration with the teams locally.
- You will manage a team of technicians that is responsible for maintaining our services and supporting the deployment of new infrastructures in the datacenter.
Your main responsibilities :

Train, mentor and manage the different teams working in the datacenter: DC IT/Run, Infrastructure, Stock
-
Manage performance, assessment and skill development of employees
-
Develop workload and recruitment plans for your teams and ensure that these are consistent
-
Organize the site’s business continuity (on-call workers, crisis mode, etc.)
-
Ensure health and safety regulations are respected in the datacenter
-
Ensure the datacenter infrastructure is kept active (electricity, cooling, measuring and monitoring technologies, security systems, optical fiber) and manage the maintenance contracts
-
Coordinate interventions with external providers
-
Organize risk management and prevention
-
Carry out checks and maintenance within the deadlines set by the manufacturer or the development department (establish how often maintenance is carried out as necessary)
-
Act as the operational manager of information security (ROSI) and make sure documentation is kept up to date (security files, procedures, etc.)
-
Perform audits in collaboration with the Quality team (27001/SOC/PCI DSS, etc.)
-
Monitor and facilitate the key performance indicators to prepare monthly reports on the DC infrastructure
-
Set and manage the infrastructure budget
-
Perform administrative management for the site (invoices, temporary contracts, activity reports, etc.)
-
Organize and carry out datacenter visits for customers
-
Identify, process and manage problems that have an impact on the security, reliability or maintainability of infrastructures

Skills required :
-
Computer Science studies or any other study related to infrastructure management and maintenance
-
Minimum 5 years experience in operational management within an industrial environment
-
Very good knowledge of datacenter infrastructures
-
Good knowledge of IT hardware and networks
-
Command of methods for continuous improvement and industrial performance
-
Knowledge of operations management tools (budget, reporting, etc.)
-
Fluency in English
-
Ability to build and lead teams
-
Rigorous, analytical approach
-
Organizational skills, a self starter
-
Ability to work well under pressure
