DC Infrastructure Technician M/F/X

Within OVHcloud, the Business Unit Industry is responsible for designing and delivering server resources and infrastructure, while innovating and industrializing good practices. It ensures competitive levels of service and quality while respecting deadlines agreed with customers.
As a Datacenter Infrastructure Technician, you will provide management and maintenance cover for the Datacenter power and cooling systems and enable growth within the site.

Your main responsibilities
- Install, maintain and monitor critical infrastructure monitoring systems
- Deploy, maintain and manage critical power and cooling infrastructure systems, including UPS, Generators and LV/MV distribution.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance in accordance with best practice guidelines and the schedule
- Perform reactive maintenance as and when necessary.
- Be part of a 24/7 emergency on call rota
- Manage spares stock for critical infrastructure
- Contribute to continual improvement initiatives through good communication and regular feedback
- Management of 3rd party specialist contractors for planned and reactive maintenance visits
- Raise and manage Change approval (CAB) requests as part of planned or reactive maintenance works, including creation of and peer review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Create and maintain up to date documentation, including asset databases, policies, processes and procedures
- Connect new IT racks to critical infrastructure services within the data centre.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Adhere to the OVH health and safety policy at all times
- Liaise with suppliers and internal accounts teams for ordering spares / components /consumables/tools
