- You will join the Storage Unit within the OVHcloud Infrastructure Department. You will be part of the ZFS team in charge of providing an NFS/SMB sharing service.
- As a Site Reliability Engineer, you ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of these services, which will directly impact our ability to provide redundant, distributed, and secure file sharing solutions to our clients. You will have great technological freedom and will be encouraged to contribute to the OpenZFS community.

Your main responsibilities :
- Ensuring the implementation of our release management policy.
- Participating in the design of our technical solutions.
- Implementing a permanent feedback loop with our operations teams.
- Automating and industrializing the deployment and operation of infrastructure.
- Providing technical expertise on our software layers for debugging purposes.
- Improving the user experience to increase the autonomy and velocity of our teams.

In 6 months
- You will have become familiar with the ZFS team and the Storage Unit. You will understand the existing infrastructure, current challenges, and internal team needs.
- You will have contributed to the design of the new technical solution, bringing your expertise and ideas. You may have even started prototyping or testing some solutions.
- You will have established relationships with internal users, collecting their needs and feedback on the current infrastructure. You will have set up feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement.
And in 1 year
- You will have played a key role in deploying the new storage infrastructure. You will have implemented tools and processes to ensure its proper functioning and scalability.
- You will have shared your expertise in FreeBSD, OpenZFS, and NFS and will be recognized for it.
- You will have interacted with the developer community, sharing your knowledge, asking questions, and contributing to open-source projects, as possible.

Skills required :
- You have experience in a FreeBSD environment (Poudriere, ...).
- You have already worked on storage issues (OpenZFS, NFS...).
- CI/CD technologies are no secret to you.
- You have solid development/scripting skills with the following technologies: Go / Python / Shell.
- You are familiar with Git usage.
- You master automation technologies (Salt, Ansible, Puppet...).
That's a plus :
- You have already contributed to an open-source project.
