Digital Marketing Manager M/F/X

 

About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded and hands-on E-commerce Marketing Manager to lead all marketing efforts across the Netherlands and Nordics. You’ll be responsible for driving brand awareness, digital acquisition, pipeline contribution, and digital revenue growth.
You will be fully responsible for strategising, localising and executing our digital marketing strategy in the Netherlands while managing scalable, English-language activities in the Nordics. You’ll also play a key role in supporting sales through lead generation, content localisation, and customer database management.
This is a highly autonomous role, ideal for someone digitally native and excited about the opportunity to shape the presence of a leading European cloud provider in these territories.

 

Your main responsibilities

1. Digital Growth & Acquisition (45%)

  • Plan and execute omnichannel digital campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, programmatic etc.) focused on product and service acquisition.
  • Collaborate with digital and product teams to drive revenue through the online portfolio, optimising performance and conversion.
  • Monitor, report and improve ROAS using data-driven insights.
  • Deliver targeted digital campaigns and localised content to support sales outreach and pipeline acceleration.
  • Align with sales to identify marketing priorities and support conversion through strategic assets.

 

2. Website, CRM & Content Localisation (30%)

  • Animate and manage two regional websites:
    • Dutch-language site with locally resonant content and tone.
    • International English site (Nordics) ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to optimise visibility and conversion paths.
  • Own and maintain the regional marketing database, managing segmentation and audience insights.
  • Design and deliver email nurturing journeys, identifying triggers that support engagement, reactivation, and upselling.

 

3. Market Presence & Community Engagement (10%)

  • Represent the brand at industry events and meetups to build relationships and uncover opportunities.
  • Build and animate local digital communities through organic social media and thought leadership.
  • Ensure messaging reflects market needs, trends, and the unique value of a European cloud provider.

 

4. Regional Strategy & Ownership (15%)

  • Develop and evolve high-ROI strategies for the Netherlands and Nordics.
  • Continuously assess campaign and channel performance to refine tactical plans.
  • Ensure alignment with broader European goals while championing local market relevance.

 

Your future impact

In 6 months

  • Launched the first fully localised digital acquisition and awareness campaigns in the Netherlands and seen strong early performance in lead volume and ROAS.

  • Taken full ownership of the Dutch and Nordic websites, ensuring local market alignment and optimised conversion paths.

  • Developed strong relationships with sales, product, and central digital teams, contributing to a more aligned regional go-to-market approach.

  • Launched initial marketing emails tailored to audience.


And in 1 year

  • Built and executed a high-performing, repeatable digital marketing engine for the Netherlands and Nordics that supports both online revenue and the sales pipeline.

  • Established a clear, localised digital brand presence via social media, organic channels, and digital communities.

  • Become the go-to expert on market-specific trends, buyer needs, and performance data across both regions.

  • Delivered consistent pipeline contribution and influenced revenue targets through data-led digital strategy.

Skills required

  • Native-level Dutch and fluent English communication (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and performance campaigns.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta and SEO principles.
  • Ability to use marketing analytics and dashboards to optimise performance and report on impact.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, and technical teams and external agencies.
  • Excellent project management and prioritisation skills in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments.
  • Passion for customer-centric marketing and ability to quickly adapt tone, channel use, and messaging based on regional insights.


That's a plus

  • Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure or Tech industry dynamics.
  • Experience working in an international organisation, understanding how to balance global and local goals.
