M&A associate

 

Job description

 

In the framework of a new position opening, and directly attached to the Group M&A Director, your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Develop a view of the key industry trends to drive company acquisition strategy (segmentation, dynamics, economics, technology, competitors, consumers, regulatory, etc.)
  • Ad hoc strategy projects directly related to M&A deals (strategic due diligence, value creation plan, PMI)
  • Screen and assess potential acquisition opportunities: from deal flow or off radar targets, building investment cases in conjunction with the strategy, country and product teams
  • Support acquisition process, coordinating due diligence, target and synergies valuation, integration plans design, as well as deal negotiations
  • Review and support negotiation of legal documentation (SPA, SHA, Financing) in cooperation with the legal team
  • Develop and update financial models supporting target valuation
  • Develop and implement M&A process reporting KPI’s
  • Coordinate and support the business integration teams on post-acquisition execution and reportingServe as a day-to-day valuable partner to executive leadership, business teams, and other corporate functions

 

Experience & Education

 

  • Graduate from a top-tier “Grande Ecole” program either in engineering or finance, you have 3-5 years of experience, either within a leading strategic consulting firm (with M&A related projects such as strategic due diligence and/or PMI) or within a leading financial advisor (Investment Banking or Transaction Advisory Services)
  • Competitive package conditions depending on profile
