Cloud Architect (m/f/x)

Assist and support our clients and partners by providing them with technical assistance, knowledge transfer, consulting services about cloud architecture and migration, to enable their rapid adoption and deployment of resilient optimally-sized OVHcloud solutions.
Your main responsibilities
- Support customer migrations to OVHcloud by issuing target architecture and documenting technical migration strategies.
- Manage cloud infrastructure migration/upgrade, and provide multi-domain design recommendations based on technical assessment.
- Ensure projects are implemented in accordance with client expectations.
- Deliver technical training to partners and clients regarding OVHcloud offerings.
- Assess client needs and provide workload estimates along with detailed project descriptions.
- Manage complex client issues involving virtualization, networking, security, load balancing, scaling, and automation.

In 6 Months...
- You can guide OVHcloud customers for their deployment of their public cloud infrastructure with the support of another PS architect when dealing with advanced cases.
...And in 1 year

You belong to the technical referent team in Germany to guide and support our customers for their OVHcloud adoption, migration from on-prem to public cloud, sharing best practices to deploy secure infrastructure.

You are also involved in Proof Of Concepts and support OVHcloud Pre-Sales team for complex technical matters e.g. configuration of highly available, cloud native infrastructure.

Skills required
- You have at least 4 years of experience in client-facing technical activities related to data center/public cloud architecture and migration.
- You are knowledgeable about Kubernetes and/or VMware and/or OpenStack (official certifications are a plus). In addition, you have hands-on experience in scripting tools such as Python and Infrastructure as Code e.g. Terraform/Open Tofu.
- You have already configured public/private networking, firewalls and landing zone components.
- You already have already developed a strong expertise in operating large-scale, highly available cloud infrastructures with strong troubleshooting skills.
- You have excellent communication skills in both German and English to serve domestic and international customers and to collaborate with a geographically distributed team.
