Global Procurement Operations Manager

We are looking for a/an Global Procurement Operations Manager for our Financial department. Its mission is to support OVHcloud’s development by monitoring performance, forecasts, accounting and relations with our service providers, while translating the strategic vision into fiscal years.

#Missions

Attached to the Group Chief Procurement Officer, you meet the following challenges :

The Global Procurement Operations Manager reports to the Group CPO and acts as a key member of the Global Procurement team to achieve OVH procurement transformation and contribution to the group profitability improvement.

 

The Global Procurement Operations Manager manages the Operational Back Office team, acts as key interface for the P2P projects, is in charge of all associated process and support, leads the procurement transversal activities such as SRM, sustainability, certification… in accordance with the strategic front office team (Global category lead buyers and Global Category managers).

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Business partner for the purchasing team to ensure that all the needed support to GLBs and GCMs is available. Identify, develop and maintain working relationships that will enable open communication to discuss and elaborate concrete action plans.

 

  • Evaluation of tools and processes to determine if current tools and processes are optimized and delivering the required results.

 

  • Review of the Group Procurement related activities to determine best approach for rationalisation and consolidation.

 

  • Acts as a Single Point Of Contact of all Procurement or Procurement related tools and project, processes & policies

  

  • Management of procurement Back-Office team (2 FTEs) to ensure that all activities are industrialized and efficient.

 

  • Coordination of procurement quarterly reporting including savings follow-up.

 

  • Creation / harmonization of all procurement templates or documentation needed for proper execution from the rest of the team

 

  • Coordination of all sourcing strategies from each subcategories procurement.

 

  • Participate in Procurement forums to maintain a solid understanding of new direction and best practices.

 

  • Entertains constructive and mature relationships with strategic tools vendors and ecosystem

Key Areas of Skills & Experience:

 

  • At least 3 to 5 years global procurement experience in a functional role acting as a consultant role

 

  • Specific experience in P2P tool deployment (SAP, Ivalua)

 

  • Ideally a track record of achieving Strategic Back Office / BPO type of role.

 

  • Be aware of new and innovative approaches in procurement, where appropriate, make recommendations on new initiatives and concepts.

 

  • A successful track record in consolidation of procurement initiatives across geographies.

 

  • An excellent  project leader with strong ability to prepare state of the art presentations to convey his/her ideas.
