We are looking for a/an Solution Architect (m/w/d)  for our Customer Services department that provides advice, listening and solutions to our customers, our customer service teams are essential to ensure a service that meets our quality requirements.
Our customer service teams are divided into six areas: cloud, web, telecom, keepbiz, Professional cloud services and cross-cutting projects.

 

#Key responsibilities:
As a Solutions Architect, you will have a customer facing role, you will lead technical workshops, provide implementation guidance/assistance when needed to your customers:

  • Help customers to migrate to OVHcloud, define strategies & technical paths of migration
  • Manage short or long projects of migrations, upgrade, infrastructure audits
  • Technical on boarding of partners and customers on OVHcloud offers
  • Analyze customer needs, and deliver statement of work with estimated workload, detailed project scope
  • Manage complex customer issues when escalated, that can be related to virtualization, networking, security, load balancing...
  • Ensure that projects are implemented meeting customer expectations, managing communication plan, risks, delivery times
  • Strongly involved in new product launch : to help defining proper professional services expected by our partners & customers

#Profile

  • Engineering Background with significant experience in Support & customer projects : architecture, migrations, Data center
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to understand complex relationships between components of multi-tiered applications
  • Past experience in building, industrializing and running large highly-available infrastructures in the cloud on multiple regions
  • Experience in a customer-facing role in a cloud environment
  • Hands-on experience in virtualization, compute, storage, networking, load balancing, security (inc. firewalling, VPN), business continuity solutions, and enterprise applications

 

Experience in one of those 2 areas :
1. VMware's technology stack
2. Opensource / openstack

  • Experience in Infra as Code / Automation, scripting. One of the following languages : Python, Terraform, Ansible, ...
  • Good customer facing and relationship building skills
  • Communication is an important part of the role : verbal and writing skills are required
  • Fluent in English to engage on projects in international environment
